Who Can Participate

For Suppliers

Be a formalized Belizean business
Complete registration and document verification
List products/services with capacity information
Participate in assessments or training if required

For Buyers (Anchor Firms)

Be vetted and approved by BELTRAIDE
Provide procurement needs or sourcing interests
Agree to SDP participation terms (MoU where applicable)

How the Linkage Process Works

A structured manual + digital hybrid workflow.

Step 1: Registration & Verification

Suppliers and buyers register and submit required documentation.

Status: Admin-reviewed

Step 2: Discovery & Matching

Buyers browse verified suppliers by Sector, Product, HS code, Capacity, and Certifications.

SDP administrators may recommend matches.

Step 3: Linkage Request

Buyer sends a linkage request through the platform. Supplier can accept or decline.

SDP tracks status and milestones.

Step 4: Engagement & Development

Depending on readiness, supplier may undergo gap analysis, training, or grant-supported upgrades.

Step 5: Commercial Outcome

Buyer and supplier engage commercially. Contract signing is recorded for M&E only.

SDP does not manage payments or contracts.
